Great Weekend, Start of a Great Week!

Last week was a pretty good week because we haven't had a ton of homework which means more free time in the evenings! Friday night was date night, and since I (Jess) was in charge, I looked online for some fun ideas. We decided to go to dinner using a gift card and then we went to Barnes and Noble to get a hot chocolate and spend time just looking at some fun books. It was something that neither of us had done before on a date so we were both excited to try something new and it ended up being a lot of fun!
Saturday morning we got up early to go pick up our bountiful basket. Basically for $15 you can get a laundry basket full of fruits and veggies which I think is a pretty good deal! Sadly we had to wait around for an hour because the truck was late. The rest of the morning we spent cleaning up and getting things ready to go up to Ogden for the weekend. We first went by his parents house where we had a pre-thanksgiving dinner. It was so good and there were alot of people there. We were celebrating thanksgiving, multiple birthdays (including mine!), and just enjoying family time. We then left to go to Ogden to my friend Michelle and Ian's reception. It was beautiful and even though we didn't get to stay very long, it looked like everyone was really enjoying the special day!
We ended up spending the rest of our weekend with Adam's extended family up in Ogden. It was really nice to be able to spend Saturday night and Sunday with the family. It was relaxing and especially fun since we hadn't seen most of them since the wedding. We were sorry to have to leave to come back to Povo, but we had to go to school Monday. At least we have a lot to look forward to this week including my birthday, harry potter on saturday, and only a few more days before Thanksgiving break!

We've been enjoying so much this time we've shared together-as of yesterday we have been "dating" 9 months! We were both amazed how quickly the time has passed and we're so grateful that we enjoy spending time together now almost even more than when we first started dating. :) It's a great thing to be in love!
